Literature Text

She is fierce and violent.
Churning in the sea she waits,
For her emotions to be set free.
Waiting for a reason to lash out unexpectedly,
Her anger builds up slowly.
Like a cruel wind she unleashes her rage.
Screaming and yelling,
There is no stopping her.
Her mood causes the ocean to rage,
And the tides to rise to the occasion.
Slowly her fury turns stillness,
As everything in her presence grows silent.
The eye of the storm hovers above.
Soon without care she begins again,
Tearing the souls of everyone,
As if each was a small coastal town.
Like a tornado she gathers up all she sees,
Only to have it come crashing down.
She destroys any notion of happiness,
Leaving only anguish and dejection.
With all her might, she finally moves on.
Roaming like a nomad onto the life of her next victim.
She leaves behind a path of devastation,
And I am left behind to recover.
